My Pursuit of Tom Peters

51Fz-c5RWDL._SX323_BO1,204,203,200_So a book I’ve been reading recently is “The Pursuit of Wow!” written by Tom Peters. I first learned about this book from one of my professors in my Advertising and Marketing Communications program at St. Lawrence College in Kingston Ontario.

The reason why I chose to read this book is because the name caught my attention. “The Pursuit of Wow”, what is the “wow ” that Tom Peters is talking about and what are the steps I need to take in order to pursue this “wow”? If I read this book will I get this Wow?

Tom Peters covers a lot of different topics in this book ranging from hand written thank you notes, to philosophies on how to manage employees. Its a lot to take in and the book is written in a way that’s highly digestible. I learned that Tom Peters has a lot of things to say and he knows how to word these ideas and concepts in a way that anybody can understand.

I am about 3/4 of the way through the Pursuit of Wow! and I hope to more incredibly useful tips and tricks. Maybe I can apply some of the things I learned from this book and use them for my future career in advertising and marketing.

If you want to learn more about Tom Peters he has a Twitter account and his own personal website. The image of the cover is a hyper link to where you can buy the book on Amazon, just in case you’re interested in reading the book yourself.

So have you read the Pursuit of Wow? If so what did you think of it? Did you like it or did you dislike? Are their any other books written by Tom Peters that you’d reccomend?

If so leave a comment below and have a wonderful day
