So far my life has changed from relaxing to very stressful. This semester I got a part time job at Food Basics which eats up a lot of my study time. I decide to look on the bright side of this predicament, trying to work a part time job while at school has taught me valuable time management skills. It’s also taught me to not take my free time for granted. It feels amazing to have all my assignments finished, and do absolutely nothing. I’ve also learned how to reward myself when I complete my assignments. Before my time at St Lawrence I would watch Youtube for an hour or two and than complete my assignments. Nowadays I try do a bit of homework and than after that I reward myself by watching Youtube videos.
During my classes at St. Lawrence I’ve learned valuable tools about the marketing and advertising industry. At first I was a little bit hesitant about Advertising and Marketing Communications because I didn’t know a lot about it. But now that I’ve dipped my toe in the water, I think i’ll enjoy it.
